10 Evil Human Experiments

Human experimentation existed well into the 20th century, and though now frowned upon by any moral scientist, can even be found in the 21st.
Take genetically modified foods, fluoridated water, cloned foods, the numerous prescription drugs being given to children off-label -- even cell phones -- for example.
Only time will tell what effects these “experiments” will have on the human race, but if history repeats itself, we are in for a bumpy ride.
Here is a list of some of the most evil and unethical experiments ever carried out on humans. While they may seem unbelievable now, keep in mind that when they were being performed, no one spoke out against them until, often, it was too late.
10. Stanford Prison Experiment
The Stanford prison experiment was a psychological study of human responses to captivity, and its behavioral effects on both authorities and inmates. Undergraduate volunteers played the roles of both guards and prisoners living in a mock prison. Prisoners and guards rapidly adapted to their roles, and soon stepped beyond the boundaries of what had been predicted, leading to dangerous and psychologically damaging situations.
9. The Monster Study
The Monster Study was an experiment conducted on 22 orphan children in 1939. Half of the children were given positive speech therapy, in which the fluency of their speech was praised. The other half were belittled for every speech imperfection and told they were stutterers. Many of the normal speaking orphan children who received negative therapy suffered negative psychological effects and some retained speech problems during the course of their life.
8. Project 4.1
Project 4.1 was a medical study conducted by the United States of residents of the Marshall Islands exposed to radioactive fallout from the nuclear test at Bikini Atoll. In the decades that followed, children began to suffer disproportionately from thyroid cancer (due to exposure to radioiodines), and almost a third of those exposed developed neoplasms. A Department of Energy report concluded that, “The dual purpose of what is now a DOE medical program has led to a view by the Marshallese that they were being used as ‘guinea pigs’ in a ‘radiation experiment.’”
7. Project MKULTRA
Project MKULTRA, or MK-ULTRA, was the code name for a CIA mind-control research program. There is much published evidence that the project involved the surreptitious use of many types of drugs to manipulate individual mental states and to alter brain function. Experiments included administering LSD to CIA employees, military personnel, doctors, other government agents, prostitutes, mentally ill patients, and members of the general public in order to study their reactions. LSD and other drugs were usually administered without the subject’s knowledge or consent.
6. The Aversion Project
South Africa’s apartheid army forced white *** and gay soldiers to undergo ’sex-change’ operations in the 1970s and the 1980s, and submitted many to chemical castration, electric shock, and other unethical medical experiments. As many as 900 forced ’sexual reassignment’ operations may have been performed as part of a top-secret program to root out homosexuality from the service.
5. North Korean Experimentation
There have been many reports of North Korean human experimentation. One former North Korean woman prisoner tells how 50 healthy women prisoners were forced to eat poisoned cabbage leaves. All 50 were dead after 20 minutes of vomiting blood and anal bleeding. Kwon Hyok, a former prison head of security at Camp 22, described laboratories equipped respectively for poison gas, suffocation gas and blood experiments, in which three or four people, normally a family, were the experimental subjects.
4. Poison Laboratory of the Soviets
The Poison laboratory of the Soviet secret services, also known as Laboratory 1, Laboratory 12 and “The Chamber,” was a covert poison research and development facility. The Soviets tested a number of deadly poisons on prisoners, including mustard gas, ricin, and digitoxin.
3. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study
The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male was a clinical study conducted between 1932 and 1972 in Tuskegee, Alabama. Nearly 400 poor African American sharecroppers were denied treatment for syphilis so that the effects could be examined. This study became notorious and led to major changes in how patients are protected in clinical studies.
2. Unit 731
Unit 731 was a covert biological and chemical warfare research unit of the Imperial Japanese Army. Some of the numerous atrocities committed included vivisection of living people, including pregnant women who were impregnated by the doctors, limbs amputated and reattached, and humans used as living test cases for grenades and flame throwers. Prisoners were also injected with strains of diseases to study their effects.
1. Nazi Experiments
Medical experimentation was conducted on large numbers of people by the German Nazi regime in its concentration camps during World War II. Dr. Josef Mengele performed experiments on over 1,500 sets of imprisoned twins; fewer than 200 individuals survived these studies. The tests ranged from the injection of different chemicals into the eyes of the twins to see if it would change their colors, to literally sewing the twins together in hopes of creating conjoined twins. Other experiments included forcing subjects to endure a tank of ice water for up to three hours to test hypothermia treatments, and infecting wounds with bacteria to test antibacterial treatments.

Capitalism’s Self-inflicted Apocalypse

After the overthrow of communist governments in Eastern Europe, capitalism was paraded as the indomitable system that brings prosperity and democracy, the system that would prevail unto the end of history.
The present economic crisis, however, has convinced even some prominent free-marketeers that something is gravely amiss. Truth be told, capitalism has yet to come to terms with several historical forces that cause it endless trouble: democracy, prosperity, and capitalism itself, the very entities that capitalist rulers claim to be fostering.
Plutocracy vs. Democracy
Let us consider democracy first. In the United States we hear that capitalism is wedded to democracy, hence the phrase, “capitalist democracies.” In fact, throughout our history there has been a largely antagonistic relationship between democracy and capital concentration. Some eighty years ago Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis commented, “We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can’t have both.” Moneyed interests have been opponents not proponents of democracy.
The Constitution itself was fashioned by affluent gentlemen who gathered in Philadelphia in 1787 to repeatedly warn of the baneful and dangerous leveling effects of democracy. The document they cobbled together was far from democratic, being shackled with checks, vetoes, and requirements for artificial super majorities, a system designed to blunt the impact of popular demands.
In the early days of the Republic the rich and well-born imposed property qualifications for voting and officeholding. They opposed the direct election of candidates (note, their Electoral College is still with us). And for decades they resisted extending the franchise to less favored groups such as propertyless working men, immigrants, racial minorities, and women.
Today conservative forces continue to reject more equitable electoral features such as proportional representation, instant runoff, and publicly funded campaigns. They continue to create barriers to voting, be it through overly severe registration requirements, voter roll purges, inadequate polling accommodations, and electronic voting machines that consistently “malfunction” to the benefit of the more conservative candidates.
At times ruling interests have suppressed radical publications and public protests, resorting to police raids, arrests, and jailings—applied most recently with full force against demonstrators in St. Paul, Minnesota, during the 2008 Republican National Convention.
The conservative plutocracy also seeks to rollback democracy’s social gains, such as public education, affordable housing, health care, collective bargaining, a living wage, safe work conditions, a non-toxic sustainable environment; the right to privacy, the separation of church and state, freedom from compulsory pregnancy, and the right to marry any consenting adult of one’s own choosing.
About a century ago, US labor leader Eugene Victor Debs was thrown into jail during a strike. Sitting in his cell he could not escape the conclusion that in disputes between two private interests, capital and labor, the state was not a neutral arbiter. The force of the state--with its police, militia, courts, and laws—was unequivocally on the side of the company bosses. From this, Debs concluded that capitalism was not just an economic system but an entire social order, one that rigged the rules of democracy to favor the moneybags.
Capitalist rulers continue to pose as the progenitors of democracy even as they subvert it, not only at home but throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Any nation that is not “investor friendly,” that attempts to use its land, labor, capital, natural resources, and markets in a self-developing manner, outside the dominion of transnational corporate hegemony, runs the risk of being demonized and targeted as “a threat to U.S. national security.”
Democracy becomes a problem for corporate America not when it fails to work but when it works too well, helping the populace move toward a more equitable and livable social order, narrowing the gap, however modestly, between the superrich and the rest of us. So democracy must be diluted and subverted, smothered with disinformation, media puffery, and mountains of campaign costs; with rigged electoral contests and partially disfranchised publics, bringing faux victories to more or less politically safe major-party candidates.
Capitalism vs. Prosperity
The corporate capitalists no more encourage prosperity than do they propagate democracy. Most of the world is capitalist, and most of the world is neither prosperous nor particularly democratic. One need only think of capitalist Nigeria, capitalist Indonesia, capitalist Thailand, capitalist Haiti, capitalist Colombia, capitalist Pakistan, capitalist South Africa, capitalist Latvia, and various other members of the Free World--more accurately, the Free Market World.
A prosperous, politically literate populace with high expectations about its standard of living and a keen sense of entitlement, pushing for continually better social conditions, is not the plutocracy’s notion of an ideal workforce and a properly pliant polity. Corporate investors prefer poor populations. The poorer you are, the harder you will work—for less. The poorer you are, the less equipped you are to defend yourself against the abuses of wealth.
In the corporate world of “free-trade,” the number of billionaires is increasing faster than ever while the number of people living in poverty is growing at a faster rate than the world’s population. Poverty spreads as wealth accumulates.
Consider the United States. In the last eight years alone, while vast fortunes accrued at record rates, an additional six million Americans sank below the poverty level; median family income declined by over $2,000; consumer debt more than doubled; over seven million Americans lost their health insurance, and more than four million lost their pensions; meanwhile homelessness increased and housing foreclosures reached pandemic levels.
It is only in countries where capitalism has been reined in to some degree by social democracy that the populace has been able to secure a measure of prosperity; northern European nations such as Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark come to mind. But even in these social democracies popular gains are always at risk of being rolled back.
It is ironic to credit capitalism with the genius of economic prosperity when most attempts at material betterment have been vehemently and sometimes violently resisted by the capitalist class. The history of labor struggle provides endless illustration of this.
To the extent that life is bearable under the present U.S. economic order, it is because millions of people have waged bitter class struggles to advance their living standards and their rights as citizens, bringing some measure of humanity to an otherwise heartless politico-economic order.
A Self-devouring Beast
The capitalist state has two roles long recognized by political thinkers. First, like any state it must provide services that cannot be reliably developed through private means, such as public safety and orderly traffic. Second, the capitalist state protects the haves from the have-nots, securing the process of capital accumulation to benefit the moneyed interests, while heavily circumscribing the demands of the working populace, as Debs observed from his jail cell.
There is a third function of the capitalist state seldom mentioned. It consists of preventing the capitalist system from devouring itself. Consider the core contradiction Karl Marx pointed to: the tendency toward overproduction and market crisis. An economy dedicated to speedups and wage cuts, to making workers produce more and more for less and less, is always in danger of a crash. To maximize profits, wages must be kept down. But someone has to buy the goods and services being produced. For that, wages must be kept up. There is a chronic tendency—as we are seeing today—toward overproduction of private sector goods and services and underconsumption of necessities by the working populace.
In addition, there is the frequently overlooked self-destruction created by the moneyed players themselves. If left completely unsupervised, the more active command component of the financial system begins to devour less organized sources of wealth.
Instead of trying to make money by the arduous task of producing and marketing goods and services, the marauders tap directly into the money streams of the economy itself. During the 1990s we witnessed the collapse of an entire economy in Argentina when unchecked free marketeers stripped enterprises, pocketed vast sums, and left the country’s productive capacity in shambles. The Argentine state, gorged on a heavy diet of free-market ideology, faltered in its function of saving capitalism from the capitalists.
Some years later, in the United States, came the multi-billion-dollar plunder perpetrated by corporate conspirators at Enron, WorldCom, Harkin, Adelphia, and a dozen other major companies. Inside players like Ken Lay turned successful corporate enterprises into sheer wreckage, wiping out the jobs and life savings of thousands of employees in order to pocket billions.
These thieves were caught and convicted. Does that not show capitalism’s self-correcting capacity? Not really. The prosecution of such malfeasance— in any case coming too late—was a product of democracy’s accountability and transparency, not capitalism’s. Of itself the free market is an amoral system, with no strictures save “caveat emptor.”
In the meltdown of 2008-09 the mounting financial surplus created a problem for the moneyed class: there were not enough opportunities to invest. With more money than they knew what to do with, big investors poured immense sums into nonexistent housing markets and other dodgy ventures, a legerdemain of hedge funds, derivatives, high leveraging, credit default swaps, predatory lending, and whatever else.
Among the victims were other capitalists, small investors, and the many workers who lost billions of dollars in savings and pensions. Perhaps the premiere brigand was Bernard Madoff. Described as “a longstanding leader in the financial services industry,” Madoff ran a fraudulent fund that raked in $50 billion from wealthy investors, paying them back “with money that wasn’t there,” as he himself put it. The plutocracy devours its own children.
In the midst of the meltdown, at an October 2008 congressional hearing, former chair of the Federal Reserve and orthodox free-market devotee Alan Greenspan confessed that he had been mistaken to expect moneyed interests--groaning under an immense accumulation of capital that needs to be invested somewhere--to suddenly exercise self-restraint.
The classic laissez-faire theory is even more preposterous than Greenspan made it. In fact, the theory claims that everyone should pursue their own selfish interests without restraint. This unbridled competition supposedly will produce maximum benefits for all because the free market is governed by a miraculously benign “invisible hand” that optimizes collective outputs. (“Greed is good.”)
Is the crisis of 2008-09 caused by a chronic tendency toward overproduction and hyper-financial accumulation, as Marx would have it? Or is it the outcome of the personal avarice of people like Bernard Madoff? In other words, is the problem systemic or individual? In fact, the two are not mutually exclusive. Capitalism breeds the venal perpetrators, and rewards the most unscrupulous among them. The crimes and crises are not irrational departures from a rational system, but the converse: they are the rational outcomes of a basically irrational and amoral system.
Worse still, the ensuing multi-billion dollar government bailouts are themselves being turned into an opportunity for pillage. Not only does the state fail to regulate, it becomes itself a source of plunder, pulling vast sums from the federal money machine, leaving the taxpayers to bleed.
Those who scold us for “running to the government for a handout” are themselves running to the government for a handout. Corporate America has always enjoyed grants-in-aid, loan guarantees, and other state and federal subventions. But the 2008-09 “rescue operation” offered a record feed at the public trough. More than $350 billion was dished out by a right-wing lame-duck Secretary of the Treasury to the biggest banks and financial houses without oversight--not to mention the more than $4 trillion that has come from the Federal Reserve. Most of the banks, including JPMorgan Chase and Bank of New York Mellon, stated that they had no intention of letting anyone know where the money was going.
The big bankers used some of the bailout, we do know, to buy up smaller banks and prop up banks overseas. CEOs and other top banking executives are spending bailout funds on fabulous bonuses and lavish corporate spa retreats. Meanwhile, big bailout beneficiaries like Citigroup and Bank of America laid off tens of thousands of employees, inviting the question: why were they given all that money in the first place?
While hundreds of billions were being doled out to the very people who had caused the catastrophe, the housing market continued to wilt, credit remained paralyzed, unemployment worsened, and consumer spending sank to record lows.
In sum, free-market corporate capitalism is by its nature a disaster waiting to happen. Its essence is the transformation of living nature into mountains of commodities and commodities into heaps of dead capital. When left entirely to its own devices, capitalism foists its diseconomies and toxicity upon the general public and upon the natural environment--and eventually begins to devour itself.
The immense inequality in economic power that exists in our capitalist society translates into a formidable inequality of political power, which makes it all the more difficult to impose democratic regulations.
If the paladins of Corporate America want to know what really threatens “our way of life,” it is their way of life, their boundless way of pilfering their own system, destroying the very foundation on which they stand, the very community on which they so lavishly feed.

While it has been known for some time that eating cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, can help prevent breast cancer, the mechanism by which the active substances in these vegetables inhibit cell proliferation was unknown — until now.
Scientists in the UC Santa Barbara laboratories of Leslie Wilson, professor of biochemistry and pharmacology, and Mary Ann Jordan, adjunct professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, have shown how the healing power of these vegetables works at the cellular level. Their research is published in this month's journal Carcinogenesis.
"Breast cancer, the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, can be protected against by eating cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and near relatives of cabbage such as broccoli and cauliflower," said first author Olga Azarenko, who is a graduate student at UCSB. "These vegetables contain compounds called isothiocyanates which we believe to be responsible for the cancer-preventive and anti-carcinogenic activities in these vegetables. Broccoli and broccoli sprouts have the highest amount of the isothiocyanates.
"Our paper focuses on the anti-cancer activity of one of these compounds, called sulforaphane, or SFN," Azarenko added. "It has already been shown to reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death." It’s always great to find phtyonutrient-based research being published and getting some well-deserved attention. In general, it is wise to include as many different varieties of vegetables in your diet as you can tolerate, based on your nutritional type.
As a general rule, the greater the variety and the larger the volume, the better. When it comes to healing carbohydrates, most of the beneficial healing elements of food are in the vegetables, whereas the grains are a major contributing factor to most of our modern culture’s diseases.
The healing, restorative power of vegetables have been researched and known for some time, but remains largely obscured; overshadowed by the massive marketing of pharmaceutical drugs that seek to provide symptomatic relief, however more expensively, oftentimes less effectively, and with a plethora of damaging health consequences as, unlike vegetables, they nearly always fail to address the cause of the problem.
For example, one 2001 study discovered that women who reported consuming at least 2.5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily as adolescents were 46 percent less likely to develop ovarian cancer. I can’t think of any drug that can beat those prevention odds.
The Cancer-Busting Power of Crunchy Veggies
Several studies have confirmed that certain compounds, called isothiocyanates, in cruciferous vegetables have distinct anti-cancer activity.
Broccoli and even more so, broccoli sprouts, contain the highest amounts of isothiocyanates. Other vegetables containing isothiocyanate include:
brussel sprouts
cauliflower
cabbage
arugula
watercress
horseradish
The isothiocyanate in these vegetables sparks hundreds of genetic changes, activating some genes that fight cancer and switch off others that fuel tumors.
Said lead author Olga Azarenko:

As stated in this latest study, one particular isothiocyanate compound called sulforaphane (SFN) has been shown to reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It also inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death.
Other studies have confirmed the protective benefits of these vegetables for other types of cancer as well, such as:
Bladder cancer – Researchers found that the higher the intake of cruciferous vegetables, the lower the risk of bladder cancer in men
Lung cancer – Researchers found that men with detectable amounts of isothiocyanates in their bodies had a 36 percent lower chance of developing lung cancer over 10 years
Prostate cancer – This study, published in PLoS ONE in 2008, discovered that just a few additional portions of broccoli each week could protect men from prostate cancer
I have long touted the cancer busting power of broccoli and actually posted my first article on it 11 years ago.
Back then, animal studies had shown that glucoraphanin -- a precursor to sulforaphane – boosts cell enzymes that protect against molecular damage from cancer-causing chemicals. Sulforaphane had also been shown to mobilize natural cancer protection resources, reducing the risk of malignancy.
Now these most recent studies have been able to validate the actions of sulforaphane in humans as well.
The Special Power of Broccoli
Broccoli (as compared to other cruciferous vegetables) has a particularly powerful type of sulforaphane, which researchers believe gives broccoli its particular cancer-fighting properties.
It appears that broccoli contains the necessary ingredients to switch ON genes that prevent cancer development, and switch OFF other ones that help it spread, effectively delivering a double dose of protective action.
The power of food in normalizing chronic disease and helping you achieve optimal health is quite profound and one of the reasons that I chose a career of natural health.
How Many Vegetables Do You Have to Eat to Reap These Benefits?
Previous studies have indicated that people who consume more than one portion of cruciferous vegetables per week are at lower risk of prostate cancer. In the PLoS study mentioned earlier, the participants ate four extra servings of broccoli per week for one year.
The researchers collected tissue samples over the course of the study and found that the men who ate broccoli showed hundreds of beneficial changes in genes known to play a role in fighting cancer!
That’s pretty impressive. What’s even more impressive is the fact that you don’t have to make that drastic of a change to reap the benefits. After all, one serving of broccoli equates to about two spears. So we’re only talking approximately 10 spears a week, folks. That’s it!
Is Broccoli the Right Choice for You?
While I believe foods, especially vegetables, are a far smarter choice to treat serious health challenges like cancer than using most drugs, all foods may still not be the right choice for you. And even though vegetables are one of the healthiest food categories on the planet, not all vegetables are beneficial for everyone.
This is where a deep appreciation of nutritional typing will assist you in selecting the best vegetables for you.
One of the most serious mistakes is for a protein type to consume many dark green vegetables. This tends to over-alkaline your system and worsens rather than improves your health if you’re a protein type. This is despite the many beneficial phytonutrients that are present. I am very familiar with this mistake as it’s one that I made prior to understanding nutritional typing.
However, other cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, which happen to be beneficial for protein types, can also have a similar effect.
I want you to be aware of just how important it is to understand your body at a deeper level, because if you are a protein type and were to eat broccoli, the other effects of broccoli might push your metabolic biochemistry in the wrong direction and thus override its benefits.
I also want to mention that small quantities of fresh broccoli sprouts contain as much cancer protection as larger amounts of the mature broccoli, according to previous research at Johns Hopkins University.
Just 5 grams (0.17 ounces) of sprouts contain concentrations of the compound glucoraphanin (a precursor to sulforaphane) equal to that found in 150 grams (5.2 ounces) of mature broccoli! The sprouts are eaten raw, usually as an addition to salad, and are a great way to get lots of cancer-protecting nutrients into your diet.
More Guidelines to Help Avoid and Treat Common Cancers
As I am now in Hawaii for the winter, I want to remind you of perhaps the most powerful cancer-prevention method available to all: sunshine!
Lately I’ve written extensively about the phenomenal health benefits of vitamin D from appropriate sun exposure, and cancer prevention is heavily featured. For a recap, or to continue your investigation on this topic, please review my recently updated Vitamin D Resource page.

Get appropriate amounts of animal-based omega-3 fats such as krill oil or fish oil, and reduce your intake of omega-6 oils.

Have a tool to permanently erase the neurological short-circuiting that can activate cancer genes. Even the CDC states that 85 percent of disease is caused by emotions. It is likely that this factor may be more important than all the other physical ones listed here, so make sure this is addressed. My favorite tool, as you may know, is the Emotional Freedom Technique.
Get enough high-quality sleep.
Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins and sources of heavy metals.
Boil, poach or steam your foods, rather than frying or charbroiling them.
Fifty Habits of Highly Successful People
Success is really a profound individual perception. Not only is there the commercialized notion of success, bred by whatever culture you live in, but individually, success is different for everyone, and changes as you grow older.

While it has been known for some time that eating cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, can help prevent breast cancer, the mechanism by which the active substances in these vegetables inhibit cell proliferation was unknown — until now.
Scientists in the UC Santa Barbara laboratories of Leslie Wilson, professor of biochemistry and pharmacology, and Mary Ann Jordan, adjunct professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, have shown how the healing power of these vegetables works at the cellular level. Their research is published in this month's journal Carcinogenesis.
"Breast cancer, the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, can be protected against by eating cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and near relatives of cabbage such as broccoli and cauliflower," said first author Olga Azarenko, who is a graduate student at UCSB. "These vegetables contain compounds called isothiocyanates which we believe to be responsible for the cancer-preventive and anti-carcinogenic activities in these vegetables. Broccoli and broccoli sprouts have the highest amount of the isothiocyanates.
"Our paper focuses on the anti-cancer activity of one of these compounds, called sulforaphane, or SFN," Azarenko added. "It has already been shown to reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death." It’s always great to find phtyonutrient-based research being published and getting some well-deserved attention. In general, it is wise to include as many different varieties of vegetables in your diet as you can tolerate, based on your nutritional type.
As a general rule, the greater the variety and the larger the volume, the better. When it comes to healing carbohydrates, most of the beneficial healing elements of food are in the vegetables, whereas the grains are a major contributing factor to most of our modern culture’s diseases.
The healing, restorative power of vegetables have been researched and known for some time, but remains largely obscured; overshadowed by the massive marketing of pharmaceutical drugs that seek to provide symptomatic relief, however more expensively, oftentimes less effectively, and with a plethora of damaging health consequences as, unlike vegetables, they nearly always fail to address the cause of the problem.
For example, one 2001 study discovered that women who reported consuming at least 2.5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily as adolescents were 46 percent less likely to develop ovarian cancer. I can’t think of any drug that can beat those prevention odds.
The Cancer-Busting Power of Crunchy Veggies
Several studies have confirmed that certain compounds, called isothiocyanates, in cruciferous vegetables have distinct anti-cancer activity.
Broccoli and even more so, broccoli sprouts, contain the highest amounts of isothiocyanates. Other vegetables containing isothiocyanate include:
brussel sprouts
cauliflower
cabbage
arugula
watercress
horseradish
The isothiocyanate in these vegetables sparks hundreds of genetic changes, activating some genes that fight cancer and switch off others that fuel tumors.
Said lead author Olga Azarenko:

As stated in this latest study, one particular isothiocyanate compound called sulforaphane (SFN) has been shown to reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It also inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death.
Other studies have confirmed the protective benefits of these vegetables for other types of cancer as well, such as:
Bladder cancer – Researchers found that the higher the intake of cruciferous vegetables, the lower the risk of bladder cancer in men
Lung cancer – Researchers found that men with detectable amounts of isothiocyanates in their bodies had a 36 percent lower chance of developing lung cancer over 10 years
Prostate cancer – This study, published in PLoS ONE in 2008, discovered that just a few additional portions of broccoli each week could protect men from prostate cancer
I have long touted the cancer busting power of broccoli and actually posted my first article on it 11 years ago.
Back then, animal studies had shown that glucoraphanin -- a precursor to sulforaphane – boosts cell enzymes that protect against molecular damage from cancer-causing chemicals. Sulforaphane had also been shown to mobilize natural cancer protection resources, reducing the risk of malignancy.
Now these most recent studies have been able to validate the actions of sulforaphane in humans as well.
The Special Power of Broccoli
Broccoli (as compared to other cruciferous vegetables) has a particularly powerful type of sulforaphane, which researchers believe gives broccoli its particular cancer-fighting properties.
It appears that broccoli contains the necessary ingredients to switch ON genes that prevent cancer development, and switch OFF other ones that help it spread, effectively delivering a double dose of protective action.
The power of food in normalizing chronic disease and helping you achieve optimal health is quite profound and one of the reasons that I chose a career of natural health.
How Many Vegetables Do You Have to Eat to Reap These Benefits?
Previous studies have indicated that people who consume more than one portion of cruciferous vegetables per week are at lower risk of prostate cancer. In the PLoS study mentioned earlier, the participants ate four extra servings of broccoli per week for one year.
The researchers collected tissue samples over the course of the study and found that the men who ate broccoli showed hundreds of beneficial changes in genes known to play a role in fighting cancer!
That’s pretty impressive. What’s even more impressive is the fact that you don’t have to make that drastic of a change to reap the benefits. After all, one serving of broccoli equates to about two spears. So we’re only talking approximately 10 spears a week, folks. That’s it!
Is Broccoli the Right Choice for You?
While I believe foods, especially vegetables, are a far smarter choice to treat serious health challenges like cancer than using most drugs, all foods may still not be the right choice for you. And even though vegetables are one of the healthiest food categories on the planet, not all vegetables are beneficial for everyone.
This is where a deep appreciation of nutritional typing will assist you in selecting the best vegetables for you.
One of the most serious mistakes is for a protein type to consume many dark green vegetables. This tends to over-alkaline your system and worsens rather than improves your health if you’re a protein type. This is despite the many beneficial phytonutrients that are present. I am very familiar with this mistake as it’s one that I made prior to understanding nutritional typing.
However, other cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, which happen to be beneficial for protein types, can also have a similar effect.
I want you to be aware of just how important it is to understand your body at a deeper level, because if you are a protein type and were to eat broccoli, the other effects of broccoli might push your metabolic biochemistry in the wrong direction and thus override its benefits.
I also want to mention that small quantities of fresh broccoli sprouts contain as much cancer protection as larger amounts of the mature broccoli, according to previous research at Johns Hopkins University.
Just 5 grams (0.17 ounces) of sprouts contain concentrations of the compound glucoraphanin (a precursor to sulforaphane) equal to that found in 150 grams (5.2 ounces) of mature broccoli! The sprouts are eaten raw, usually as an addition to salad, and are a great way to get lots of cancer-protecting nutrients into your diet.
More Guidelines to Help Avoid and Treat Common Cancers
As I am now in Hawaii for the winter, I want to remind you of perhaps the most powerful cancer-prevention method available to all: sunshine!
Lately I’ve written extensively about the phenomenal health benefits of vitamin D from appropriate sun exposure, and cancer prevention is heavily featured. For a recap, or to continue your investigation on this topic, please review my recently updated Vitamin D Resource page.
I also created a one-hour video lecture to clear up the confusion about this essential nutrient. If you have not seen it yet, I recommend you set aside some time to watch it. Other recommendations for how to avoid and treat common forms of cancer include:
Control your insulin levels. Make certain that you limit your intake of processed foods.
Get appropriate exercise. One of the primary reasons exercise works is that it drives your insulin levels down. Controlling insulin levels is one of the most powerful ways to reduce your cancer risks.
Get appropriate amounts of animal-based omega-3 fats such as krill oil or fish oil, and reduce your intake of omega-6 oils.
Eliminate sugar as much as possible as it’s been shown again and again that sugar feeds cancer.
Have a tool to permanently erase the neurological short-circuiting that can activate cancer genes. Even the CDC states that 85 percent of disease is caused by emotions. It is likely that this factor may be more important than all the other physical ones listed here, so make sure this is addressed. My favorite tool, as you may know, is the Emotional Freedom Technique.
Get enough high-quality sleep.
Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins and sources of heavy metals.
Boil, poach or steam your foods, rather than frying or charbroiling them.
Fifty Habits of Highly Successful People
Success is really a profound individual perception. Not only is there the commercialized notion of success, bred by whatever culture you live in, but individually, success is different for everyone, and changes as you grow older.
It has been my observation that nearly all of us set our expectations too low. I have studied personal development literature for over 30 years now, and one of the more common themes is the agonizing thought of winding up on your deathbed not having at least tried for your dreams and goals.

I'll try again tonight!

SECRETS OF NONDUALITY

It’s been over a year now that I officially entered the state of “NONDUALITY” – Dec. 15, 2007 – by the grace of my Great Guru Ramana Maharshi. He guided me all the way the last few months before I entered this state PERMANENTLY.
Definition of NONDUALITY for our lay readers: A state where ur consciousness NEVER FORGETS (for more than a few moments) that u r GOD or that u have reached the HIGHEST STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF GOD. It is not to be confused with the state of HOLINESS which is ANOTHER DIMENSION, a degree of CHARITY within the soul – (holiness has more to do with the HEART than the consciousness.)
Now the CONSCIOUSNESS of NONDUALITY is a state of the brain/mind/Sahasrara, & it is the HIGHEST STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS but those who r in DUALITY can still have a higher state of HOLINESS – Do not confuse the two states, one being of the “heart” moreso, the other of the “brain” or “Sahasrara.”
There can be no argument that the state of Nonduality is the highest state of CONSCIOUSNESS as u cannot go higher than to know U R GOD.
PERMANENT or INTERMITTENT STATES OF NONDUALITY or GOD CONSCIOUSNESS
Most of my life since I was 26 years old, I was intermittently in states of duality vs. nonduality. There were times when I was SUNK INTO THE HEART FILLED WITH COMPASSIONATE LOVE & THEREFORE SUFFERING & other times where I became ABSTRACTED, IN THE STATE OF PURE CONTEMPLATION, & my entire life I traversed between the two, up until the very date specified, that our Great Guru led me to. It was a state (Nonduality) which I requested & desired – I could have stayed in duality & retained an immaculate place in Heaven – but my DECISION was to enter this state of NONDUALITY simply because I wanted it. It was a huge change, dramatic & stressful, the turning point was Swami G – a Great Soul in Nonduality who I studied for about two years.
She introduced to me IDEAS hitherto unknown, I was mystified & baffled with whatever it was that she preached, amazed that there was something within spirituality I DID NOT KNOW & felt it was my sacred duty to know this, since I was to achieve every highest grace there was, & contained within myself everything I knew a saint could achieve, including Divine Stigmata & seeing God Face to Face.
I interviewed Swami G extensively, & She was gracious enough to teach me, & all that She taught turned out to be true, although it was hard for me to see at the time. It was a tremendous STRUGGLE to get it, but now that I do, I want to present it to others in a way that they can also see it, as I know why I had trouble; I want to take the hardship out of perceiving this state.
What happened with Swami G is that She fully understands Nonduality, but it seems to me, She could not perceive the Christian state, the trouble being that SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOLINESS & NONDUALITY & CONTINUALLY TOLD ME THAT NONDUALITY IS THE HIGHEST STATE & NONE CAN BE HIGHER, but She did not or could not explain the difference between the HIGHEST STATE WHICH IS NONDUALITY VS. THE STATE OF HOLINESS, THE HEART, WHICH CAN BE, WITHIN IT’S OWN DIMENSION, AS GREAT OR GREATER, THEY R TWO DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS (facets) OF GOD REALIZATION!
And so, although Swami G was telling me ALL TRUTH it was the Truth about NONDUALITY but She did not express the Truth re HOLINESS -& that was the linchpin on which we continually argued & disagreed, causing much spleen between us – regretfully so – but all turned out right in the end. I affirm strongly that although Swami & I argued ferociously, She was nonetheless instrumental in starting me on the Path of Nonduality, & the cause of my taking the Fork in the Road that led to it – after two years. I then picked up the Guru with whom there were “no arguments” since He was dead – Ramana Maharshi - & He took me the rest of the way.
The things I will express to u now r the very things which Swami G told me were characteristics of NONDUALITY which I so looked forward to, which indeed happened. They r like so:
THE PAST FADES AWAY
This is a wonderful thing, as they say, with life, “The first hundred years is the hardest” meaning that life is hard, & therefore we all have bad memories of it.
Each human has special memories of pain, with many, it is family, with others, their marriages, as whoever is closest to us, causes us the most pain.
My special prayer was to forget my family, if I could do so it would be a boon of mega proportions. Swami G told me,
“They fade away, like what happened, happened to another person.”
This came true. Not only did I FORGET MY FAMILY but everyone else who ever hurt me – there were thousands it seemed!

You MOSTLY don’t care but u certainly don’t want to be LYNCHED, put into jail, vilified for no reason at all! But if it happens, it happens, ur not so connected to it that u fall apart.
NO GUILT RE MANY THINGS INCLUDING “SEXUAL MORALITY”
The ideas for which we feel “guilty” – many of which r MIND CONTROL perpetrated by male domination religion, - slough off our backs. We no longer cringe at the thought of doing things that relegate us “not respectable” for the simple reason as stated, we no longer care, relatively, what others think of us. We know their opinions r theirs, based on what they know or don’t know, &
“Every fool has a right to his opinion.”
So let them think what they want, it is their problem, not mine.
FREE OF RELIGION
Swami G told me there would be no prayer (“Who do u pray to?”) & no religious rituals.
This was hard for me to believe, as I’d been coached in “pray without ceasing” & “ritual doer” all my life. I gave her the example of Jesus praying to his Heavenly Father.
But after Dec. 15, 2007, I discovered it harder to pray – it felt STRANGE. Right now when I pray I KNOW I AM TALKING TO MYSELF! I also stopped saying Masses for Souls in Purgatory – stopped reciting the Holy Rosary as well as Stations of the Cross, & many other prayers, petitions, mantras, etc.
“When that which is perfect has come, that which is in part shall be done away with,”
according to St. Paul.
By no means r these things WRONG in any way, they r right & good, but when entering NONDUALITY they NO LONGER APPLY, they were a means to an end, that end being, put all your mind, heart & being on God. But once U R THERE ALL THE TIME U DO NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO STAY THERE!
SEX IN NONDUALITY
After thirty years of celibacy – which I am proud of, or glad I did it, I came to a crossroad. Since the year 2000 God, partly through my Guru, Baba Muktananda, had been telling me to “have fun” but I could not understand any more what that was. It took me eight years to come to the realization that SEX WAS FUN - THAT I COULD DO SEX AGAIN & ‘HAVE FUN’ certainly in theory, although dating is a mix of emotions, always hope for fun, not panning out each time.
Like prayer, celibacy is a MEANS TO AN END & once u BECOME GOD or know all the time, U R GOD, then celibacy has done its work.
Then if u decide u want to have sex, it isn’t complicated. U try & HAVE FUN with ur partner/s & that is all there is to it. The instincts do not complicate matters, u just follow them, all the rest is window dressing. The struggle is, for me, throwing off the rest of the yokes of repression foisted on us by Patriarchy, it’s mind control religions which promote DEATH, not LIFE, making war a necessity, but SEX something dirty that must be ALWAYS KEPT UNDER CONTROL.
So basically, within sex, we must get rid of the mind control male domination religion. Like it says,
“I volunteered, now I will un-volunteer.”
You have to say,
“I was repressed, now I will become un-repressed.”
OVERVIEW, OVERALL
Basically, the state of consciousness I am in is that of a “comprehensor”, to a degree, as expressed in Christianity, which is the state u r in when u die, go to Heaven & see God. Certainly one has no anxieties, no worries, no fears, no depression, & NO AMBITIONS when one has ACHIEVED HEAVEN. As I said, it is RELATIVE because ur not in GLORY – I know what that is as I’ve been to the Other Side & seen God face to face TWICE. This is certainly not that, but a relative state of Nirvana, or peace.
To the question of Nirvana or Peace as explained by Buddhism – how does this coincide with wanting sex or wanting to have fun?
OK, again, remember my word RELATIVE. I still WANT TO EAT, I WANT TO SLEEP, I WANT TO TAKE A BATH, ETC., correct? Not wanting anything is again relative, one does not want anything INORDINATE, OUT OF CONTROL, EXTREME, ANXIETY PROVOKING DESIRES, but those things which r natural, normal, easy to attain r what the human body demands, requires, & certainly, as long as one wants to live, to have health, one wants the natural order of things, & sex is part of that natural order, nothing inordinate. It was celibacy that was ABNORMAL, & by it’s practice I gained the SUPERNATURAL but now I am there, THE PENDULUM SWINGS BACK TO NORMAL & I AM BALANCED.
The humor of this is of course, after thirty years of celibacy I intend to have sex with a young male on the day I die, thirty years from now.
ABOUT “SUFFERING”
One of the points that bothered me the most with Swami G was when She accused me of “addiction to suffering.”
Truly, this arena eventually broke down our communication system.
Here on the one side, I had the example of Jesus & all the saints who suffered, while on the other side, She said I was “addicted to suffering” but they weren’t (meaning they were real saints, I was not, I had delusions) – her state was the highest state, I must “give up” this need to suffer, I must give up the claim I have the “Divine Stigmata,” since I’m not bleeding, it is my imagination.
But on the other hand, her invisible kundalini graces r real!
The lack of logic here defied me, I threw up my hands & left her.
Now that I know I am in NONDUALITY permanently perhaps I can explain my side better, which She could not see at all.
They r two separate, different paths. One is the Heart of love, one is Divine Consciousness – u can be a great saint in either discipline. The best of them, such as St. Gertrude the Great, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Catherine of Sienna, went from the Heart to Contemplation back & forth. They worked, they suffered, they had visions of the highest order. I was one of them – this was hard, for some reason, for Swami G to consider. Was it contempt? Why contempt?
Swami G was right in saying I could give up suffering – that I must give her. It was a choice, hard for me to take, as I did not know if I could continue helping souls. So I was afraid to lose my “merits” which r gained through suffering! Certainly I could never “have fun” if I remained in that state, I would have been like Saint Padre Pio, who suffered until the day he died at age 81, with the bleeding wounds, & travail upon his brain. (Other saints, Teresa of Avila, Catherine of Sienna, St. Gertrude the Great & Saint Faustina, all had the INVISIBLE INTERIOR Stigmata, which is what I have!)
From the Catholic point of view, when I chose to enter Nonduality, I chose Contemplation as THE BETTER PART – I chose to leave one path for the other. (Please recall this is the path of Mary Magdalene, not that of Martha, the hard working activist, & Jesus said,
“Martha, u r concerned about so many things, Mary HAS THE BETTER PART, & it shall not be taken away from her!”)
Mary had her mind leave MANY THINGS & sitting at the feet of Jesus was the act of putting all of the mind & oneself on God, the “better part” or “better path” which all the Catholic mystics recognize is HIGHER/BETTER but is not the right path for everyone as explained by the great theologian, St. Thomas Aquinas)
In asking why Contemplation (Nonduality) is THE BETTER PART it is simply this: To SEE God precedes LOVING God, the Mind/Consciousness has to come first, the heart follows. You cannot LOVE something/someone u do not first KNOW.
Why could Swami G not see that my path was righteous & my graces real, that I was one of the saints? Why did She have to demoralize me, was it some kind of mind game where She felt She had to kill my ego? I doubt it, I think She simply did not understand Christianity.
The End of Suffering for Me
But all that being said, when I made my choice for Nonduality, suffering, as I knew it ended. It was simply a calibration. I was not in a place where suffering could reach me, I was free of it. Nirvana & suffering do not go together.
As I go back to my former state, it was a kind of willingness & acceptance of suffering at all times, the volunteer, what Catholics call “victims of love.”
But when u “un-volunteer” it’s over – No one forces u to do it. I had had enough.

It’s been over a year now that I officially entered the state of “NONDUALITY” – Dec. 15, 2007 – by the grace of my Great Guru Ramana Maharshi. He guided me all the way the last few months before I entered this state PERMANENTLY.
Definition of NONDUALITY for our lay readers: A state where ur consciousness NEVER FORGETS (for more than a few moments) that u r GOD or that u have reached the HIGHEST STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF GOD. It is not to be confused with the state of HOLINESS which is ANOTHER DIMENSION, a degree of CHARITY within the soul – (holiness has more to do with the HEART than the consciousness.)
Now the CONSCIOUSNESS of NONDUALITY is a state of the brain/mind/Sahasrara, & it is the HIGHEST STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS but those who r in DUALITY can still have a higher state of HOLINESS – Do not confuse the two states, one being of the “heart” moreso, the other of the “brain” or “Sahasrara.”
There can be no argument that the state of Nonduality is the highest state of CONSCIOUSNESS as u cannot go higher than to know U R GOD.
PERMANENT or INTERMITTENT STATES OF NONDUALITY or GOD CONSCIOUSNESS
Most of my life since I was 26 years old, I was intermittently in states of duality vs. nonduality. There were times when I was SUNK INTO THE HEART FILLED WITH COMPASSIONATE LOVE & THEREFORE SUFFERING & other times where I became ABSTRACTED, IN THE STATE OF PURE CONTEMPLATION, & my entire life I traversed between the two, up until the very date specified, that our Great Guru led me to. It was a state (Nonduality) which I requested & desired – I could have stayed in duality & retained an immaculate place in Heaven – but my DECISION was to enter this state of NONDUALITY simply because I wanted it. It was a huge change, dramatic & stressful, the turning point was Swami G – a Great Soul in Nonduality who I studied for about two years.
She introduced to me IDEAS hitherto unknown, I was mystified & baffled with whatever it was that she preached, amazed that there was something within spirituality I DID NOT KNOW & felt it was my sacred duty to know this, since I was to achieve every highest grace there was, & contained within myself everything I knew a saint could achieve, including Divine Stigmata & seeing God Face to Face.
I interviewed Swami G extensively, & She was gracious enough to teach me, & all that She taught turned out to be true, although it was hard for me to see at the time. It was a tremendous STRUGGLE to get it, but now that I do, I want to present it to others in a way that they can also see it, as I know why I had trouble; I want to take the hardship out of perceiving this state.
What happened with Swami G is that She fully understands Nonduality, but it seems to me, She could not perceive the Christian state, the trouble being that SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOLINESS & NONDUALITY & CONTINUALLY TOLD ME THAT NONDUALITY IS THE HIGHEST STATE & NONE CAN BE HIGHER, but She did not or could not explain the difference between the HIGHEST STATE WHICH IS NONDUALITY VS. THE STATE OF HOLINESS, THE HEART, WHICH CAN BE, WITHIN IT’S OWN DIMENSION, AS GREAT OR GREATER, THEY R TWO DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS (facets) OF GOD REALIZATION!
And so, although Swami G was telling me ALL TRUTH it was the Truth about NONDUALITY but She did not express the Truth re HOLINESS -& that was the linchpin on which we continually argued & disagreed, causing much spleen between us – regretfully so – but all turned out right in the end. I affirm strongly that although Swami & I argued ferociously, She was nonetheless instrumental in starting me on the Path of Nonduality, & the cause of my taking the Fork in the Road that led to it – after two years. I then picked up the Guru with whom there were “no arguments” since He was dead – Ramana Maharshi - & He took me the rest of the way.
The things I will express to u now r the very things which Swami G told me were characteristics of NONDUALITY which I so looked forward to, which indeed happened. They r like so:
THE PAST FADES AWAY
This is a wonderful thing, as they say, with life, “The first hundred years is the hardest” meaning that life is hard, & therefore we all have bad memories of it.
Each human has special memories of pain, with many, it is family, with others, their marriages, as whoever is closest to us, causes us the most pain.
My special prayer was to forget my family, if I could do so it would be a boon of mega proportions. Swami G told me,
“They fade away, like what happened, happened to another person.”

RAMANA MAHARSHI WORDS OF WISDOM
Chapter 1
Instruction (Upadesa)
1. What are the marks of a real teacher (Sadguru)?
Steady abidance in the Self, looking at all with an equal eye, unshakeable
courage at all times, in all places and circumstances, etc.
2. What are the marks of an earnest disciple (sadsisya)?
An intense longing for the removal of sorrow and attainment of joy and an
intense aversion for all kinds of mundane pleasure.
3. What are the characteristics of instruction (upadesa)?
The word 'upadesa' means : 'near the place or seat' (upa - near, desa -
place or seat). The Guru who is the embodiment of that which is indicated by
the terms sat, chit, and ananda (existence, consciousness and bliss),
prevents the disciple who, on account of his acceptance of the forms of the
objects of the senses, has swerved from his true state and is consequently
distressed and buffeted by joys and sorrows, from continuing so and
establishes him in his own real nature without differentiation.
Upadesa also means showing a distant object quite near. It is brought home
to the disciple that the Brahman which he believes to be distant and
different from himself is near and not different from himself.
4. If it be true that the Guru is one's own Self (atman), what is the
principle underlying the doctrine which says that, however learned a
disciple may be or whatever occult powers he may possess, he cannot attain
self-realization (atma-siddhi) without the grace of the Guru?
Although in absolute truth the state of the Guru is that of oneself it is
very hard for the Self which has become the individual soul (jiva) through
ignorance to realize its true state or nature without the grace of the Guru.
All mental concepts are controlled by the mere presence of the real Guru. If
he were to say to one who arrogantly claims that he has seen the further
shore of the ocean of learning or one who claims arrogantly that he can
perform deeds which are well-nigh impossible, "Yes, you learnt all that is
to be learnt, but have you learnt (to know) yourself? And you who are
capable of performing deeds which are almost impossible, have you seen
yourself?", they will bow their heads (in shame) and remain silent. Thus it
is evident that only by the grace of the Guru and by no other accomplishment
is it possible to know oneself.
5. What are the marks of the Guru's grace?
It is beyond words or thoughts.
6. If that is so, how is it that it is said that the disciple realizes his
true state by the Guru's grace?
It is like the elephant which wakes up on seeing a lion in its dream. Even
as the elephant wakes up at the mere sight of the lion, so too is it certain
that the disciple wakes up from the sleep of ignorance into the wakefulness
of true knowledge through the Guru's benevolent look of grace.
7. What is the significance of the saying that the nature of the real Guru
is that of the Supreme Lord (Sarvesvara)?
In the case of the individual soul which desires to attain the state of true
knowledge or the state of Godhood (Isvara) and with that object always
practises devotion, when the individual's devotion has reached a mature
stage, the Lord who is the witness of that individual soul and identical
with it, comes forth in human form with the help of sat-chit-ananda, His
three natural features, and form and name which he also graciously assumes,
and in the guise of blessing the disciple, absorbs him in Himself. According
to this doctrine the Guru can truly be called the Lord.
8. How then did some great persons attain knowledge without a Guru?
To a few mature persons the Lord shines as the light of knowledge and
imparts awareness of the truth.
9. What is the end of devotion (bhakti) and the path of Siddhanta (i.e.,
Saiva Siddhanta)?
It is to learn the truth that all one's actions performed with unselfish
devotion, with the aid of the three purified instruments (body, speech and
mind), in the capacity of the servant of the Lord, become the Lord's
actions, and to stand forth free from the sense of 'I' and 'mine'. This is
also the truth of what the Saiva-Siddhantins call para-bhakti (supreme
devotion) or living in the service of God (irai-pani-nittral).
10. What is the end of the path of knowledge (jnana) or Vedanta?
It is to know the truth that the 'I' is not different from the Lord (Isvara)
and to be free from the feeling of being the doer (kartrtva, ahamkara).
11. How can it be said that the end of both these paths is the same?
Whatever the means, the destruction of the sense 'I' and 'mine' is the goal,
and as these are interdependent, the destruction of either of them causes
the destruction of the other; therefore in order to achieve that state of
Silence which is beyond thought and word, either the path of knowledge which
removes the sense of 'I' or the path of devotion which removes the sense of
'mine', will suffice. So there is no doubt that the end of the paths of
devotion and knowledge is one and the same.
NOTE: So long as the 'I' exists it is necessary to accept the Lord also. If
any one wishes to regain easily the supreme state of identity (sayujya) now
lost to him, it is only proper that he should accept this conclusion.
12. What is the mark of the ego?
The individual soul of the form of 'I' is the ego The Self which is of the
nature of intelligence (chit) has no sense of 'I'. Nor does the insentient
body possess a sense of 'I'. The mysterious appearance of a delusive ego
between the intelligent and the insentient, being the root cause of all
these troubles, upon its destruction by whatever means, that which really
exists will be seen as it is. This is called Liberation (moksha).

Questions you SHOULD ask yourself re. male extinction
MICHAEL comes through again, the attitude of a real disciple. Do not
question what MotherGod has decided, accept it, see it, understand it, work
with it, explore it. Ask questions such as
'Why would MotherGod MANDATE the end of men?...Is there a reason, or is it
simply that She could be a cruel tyrant who orders demise of peoples the way
Hitler & Stalin did?'
Of course you will decide that SHE CANNOT BE WRONG. MotherGod said to Job,
'Where were you when I created the earth?'
I had a dream this morning that told me lots. There has been much reaction
to my lecturing on male extinction, hysteria from the males, & devotees
asking basically 'What about the nice guys like me, or what about good men
like the ones I love?'
I answered in an article yesterday, and in this dream MotherGod revealed
something important. She said to me,
'Half of males are wicked, half are good. The good will disappear along
with the bad, the flesh is dust and to dust it shall return. NO HUMAN CAN
SAVE THEM.'
She showed me a picture of humans laid oout who are 'secretly' dead, that
humans do not know why they are dead or what caused it - this was all the
result of Patriarchy. She is saying there is more than any of us knows
about.
She told me there is no technology that can change the Y chromosome nor will
there be, & males cannot be turned into reproductive vehicles as females
are - they are doomed to extinctin by Her power.
In thinking about why the good guys have to go down with bad you might come
to this conclusion:
The world is say 50% righteous men, & 50% wicked. Which ones are ruling the
world, which ones always take power? The ones who will stop at nothing, the
ones who will lie, cheat, steal, torture and KILL to get what they want.
And so, the nice or good men will never rule, it is those who are wicked and
therefore in league with Satan who have always ruled and would continue to
do so if MotherGod did not stop them, and she has.
These are the questions you should resolve in your mind instead of wearing
me out with your letters exclaiming what a good guy you are, what nice guys
your friends are, etc. I do not have time for this sort of nonsense, it is
childish.
Our late President Ronald Reagan also appeared and said to the world:
'If you don't know what to do, look at Rasa and do what she is doing.'
(This man is close to me as he was elected after I gave the speech on
Fatima - the result of which was himself and two others, Pope John Paul II

in arms as well as child care by women only. We are grossly remiss in this
type of care.
Moreover, Gloria & the coterie of traditional feminists, as much as I love
them, do not by any means preach female supremacy (for which there is
absolute proof as well as statistics) & certainly never mention the coming
extinction of males! They are also neglecting the cause of ecology & animal
rights, ignoring these issues the same as does Patriarchal religion! They
are still talking about the things I heard them say in the 70's (she said we

I wanted to reach out to you as I see the sincerity & you trying again &
again to say your piece. I want to tell you what I have learned from my
experience & strategies for women like you & me.
If you look under feminism, the majority of people speaking are males ALL
AGAINST WOMEN. Where are the women? If you look under lesser names like
Matriarchy & Gynarchy, my friend William Bond & myself & the RoseMaidens are
the prominent ones, NO ONE ELSE.
If you look under Women's Liberation, again, there is good stuff, but then
again, FEMINISM rather than female empowerment, rather than superiority,
rather than Matriarchy & Gynarchy, is there. It is mostly women's history
of fighting against the bloody regime & domination of males.
Our Website, the University of MotherGod Church, fills a tremendous gaping
hole in the female empowerment world. I studied the YouTubes of Gloria
Steinem yesterday & that is the best we have except what I am bringing.
This sort of feminism is behind the times in certain arenas, which I will
explain. She demanded that MALES TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN AS MUCH AS DO
FEMALES (has she read the statistics?! They are scary!). This is bad
advise, as you will have rampant sexual abuse of children as well as neglect
at best. Males should not be trusted with the care of children, they are
not as capable as females to nurture, by no means, & they are a threat &
danger to females. There should be a new industry of wet nurses for babes
in arms as well as child care by women only. We are grossly remiss in this
type of care.
Moreover, Gloria & the coterie of traditional feminists, as much as I love
them, do not by any means preach female supremacy (for which there is
absolute proof as well as statistics) & certainly never mention the coming
extinction of males! They are also neglecting the cause of ecology & animal
rights, ignoring these issues the same as does Patriarchal religion! They
are still talking about the things I heard them say in the 70's (she said we
are still only getting 70 cents to the dollar that men get), which is
necessary, but we have come long way, baby, certainly I have!

MATRIARCHAL ISSUES COMING UP - IMPORTANT
There are two important issues coming upon the Matriarchal Movement that are
referenced in this discussion, and these will come up in the near and
distant future, and we might as well address them now.
It is extremely important, especially for the women, WHO ARE THE LEADERS, to
understand the difference between these issues and these are two totally
distinct and separate issues, to be dealt with each in different ways.
First, there is the strictly SPIRITUAL issue where both males and females
should worship MotherGod, and have places to go for public worship. In this
arena, there is no discrimination or discernment between male or female, all
are One, all are equal in terms of receiving their potential, we see only
the Spirit and not the flesh as God would look only at your Soul, not your
body. In this sense, men are completely free to seek Oneness with God,
their Creator, whom we call Mother, and there is no handicap or stumbling
block, wall or glass ceiling for them. There is also no discernment or
difference in race, sexual orientation (gay, straight, transsexual, gender
bender, transvestite, hermaphrodite, etc.), nationality or any such
dimensions, rich or poor, educated or without learning, God is no respecter
of persons and neither are we. We are totally at odds with the "Old
Testament" here, which condemns TO DEATH some of those mentioned.
But on the other hand, here is "the rub," the point that will be the bone of
contention, the pivot of controversy and perhaps hysteria, on mostly men's
part but also "do-gooder" women: Men are not equal to women genetically,
biologically, mentally or emotionally, and WORST OF ALL they are (as a
gender generally, not specific to all individuals) A DANGER TO THE HUMAN
RACE AND TO ALL LIFE ON THIS PLANET. Because of these clear and evident
facts, which are proven in copious writings by scientists, doctors and
scholars, (referenced in our own books) MEN CANNOT BE IN THE LEADERSHIP OF
THE CHURCH THAT I WILL INSTITUTE and neither, in my opinion, should they be
in any positions of serious leadership (that which has to do with the
health, wealth and welfare of humans, animals and planet) in our world,
given their track record.
Now specifically, to the Church or Temple that I plan to build. I am
debating about segregation of male and female. I believe the best interests
of women will be served if we have services FOR WOMEN ONLY, to be explained
further down. Another service, periodically, could be for males only, and a
third service, for both males and females. (This is to be worked out later
when the Church actually begins, I cannot anticipate every detail ahead of
time. Security is a big factor, as reviving MotherGod worship in public
will bring controversy and danger, and those who threaten danger are almost
always men, so we might want to keep them away for security and safety
measures.)
There are many reasons why women WANT TO BE SEGREGATED away from the men.
It is NOT the same as Mosques where women are NEVER allowed, nor other
Churches where male and female sit in separate areas (women often behind
barriers) where they are excluded because they are pushed down as the
vassals and property of men, to be done with as they will. This on the part
of men is pure misogyny, exploitation and cruelty to the superior sex, whom
they have trapped, enslaved and vilified, but for women to exclude men from
their services does not harbor the same feelings or intentions.
Even though men have grievously harmed us, and continue to do so, we are not
excluding them from our company due to the fact that we look down on them as
slaves, vassals or property, it is BECAUSE WE HAVE A RIGHT TO GATHER IN
PRIVACY AND BE LEFT ALONE BY MEN. (I will give many reasons why this is so
further down.)
Here I am speaking FOR MY CHURCH, the one that I will found, and not for
other Mother God, Goddess worship Churches. Anyone can start their own
Church and run it any way they will, males themselves can begin Mother
Worship Temples. They can have genders in total participation or partial,
whatever they want - I speak for myself.
For one thing, women sometimes WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE because the genders are
different, and they are at cross purposes, and the agenda of males is wholly
different and at odds with the agenda of women, where men basically want the
opposite of what women want. You have to go into the basic instincts of
both male and female to know what that agenda is, and it is the following:
Males want to impregnate as many women as possible, and have little or
nothing to do with the children, just move on, and impregnate more women.
That is why they travel, roam, have roving eyes, are wholly susceptible to
just about any woman even when they are in a monogamous relationship, - that
is their instinct. (Let me add here that the ideal set up for a male is to
get married, have the woman/Mother take care of him, then run around on the
side to give vent to his instincts. This is the basic Patriarchal setup we
have now.) Women, on the other hand, have much to invest when they have
children. It takes a huge amount of effort and energy for them to carry,
produce, and take care of a child. They need help, resources, support, a
steady income, and they are about providing care, nurturing, and
instruction, not about dropping a load of sperm wherever and moving on.
In Patriarchy, males have trapped women into positions like domestically
enslaved animals, where the male has the freedom but the woman does not.
Women might be put into harems, or else they are placed in nuclear families,
isolated from their kin, once habitually grounded home, while men went to
outside work and did their dalliances, while women had little opportunity
for any kind of freedom due to lack of transportation, contacts, money,
workplace, nearby kin and they were stuck with helpless children. Men
routinely had friends they met with outside the home, they went to brothels
and strip clubs, prostitutes on the street, and girlfriends, while women
took care of the children at home. This is changing drastically, women have
gained much freedom in the West, but some of it still prevails. In
countries ruled by Muslims, in Africa, China, India and other places, women
are mostly slaves of men, and that is more than half the world, perhaps a
billion and a half women and children under severe oppression.
Now back to America. I can speak from experience that all my life I have
longed to just get away from men, from the sexual harassment on the street,
public parks, restaurants, beaches, any place where I have been or tried to
have a conversation with a lady friend, alone or with other women, I have
been interrupted. Whichever of us was the most beautiful is the one that
would be approached, sometimes me, other times my girlfriend. Always they
were after sex. Every conversation would be butted into. They would hover
around, watching us, getting closer, listening and interrupting. I cannot
recall ever being left alone. In those days I had not even heard of Wicca
covens or 'safe space' for women, I just knew that in public, we could never
have a conversation. (Consider here also, why are the city streets at night
devoid of women, but lots of men are out? Women are afraid of men, men are
dangerous, women have to hide from men in the safety of their homes.)
On the other hand, women do not routinely roam around looking for single men
to approach and they do not routinely see guys talking, hover around them,
butt in, interrupt and basically make nuisances of themselves, looking for
sex or whatever. Men can be left to their privacy when they want it.
Furthermore, men have always had gathering places, called men's clubs, and
their sports, and they roam around together in groups like animals, which we
all are.
There is another salient factor why women NEED to band together, and this
was brought close to home for me when recently I saw six videos uploaded by
ZBudapest on Youtube, of women gathering.
On the surface, it seemed matter-of-fact, women speaking of their concerns,
women lighting candles and doing rituals, women dressed like amateur belly
dancers and doing a turn or two, women letting it "all hang out." But I
discerned something I had never noticed before, it hit me like a revelation.
I suddenly understood, by the act of simply GATHERING for the sake of
MotherGod, Goddess, or the Higher Power, only women, no men allowed, women
in that simple act, affirmed one another's existence, commonality and
concerns. There is GREAT EMPOWERMENT, a liberation from the ever-present
YOKE OF MEN, a way of just getting away from them and all they represent.
And it is different than just being alone in your own home. Here you gather
with sisters, women who are exactly like you, who went through the same shit
you did, who suffered like problems, who endured the same kind of judgment,
criticism and unfair scrutiny you did, trated as slaves, sex objects, second
class minds, and so on; women who are routinely called names when they don't
cooperate with their oppressors, - you all have the same experiences, and
here you are together, being yourself, not worried about your weight, your
makeup, your hair, buttering up male egos because they are the oppressors,
and they are the needy, weak, troubled animals who might strike out at you
if you don't placate them. At last, you are safe, with sisters you can talk
to and let your hair down with.
Of course, these have to be like-minded sisters, with no men to change the
atmosphere. As soon as a man walks in it all changes. The air, the vibes,
the feeling is gone. Now sisters feel unsafe, on trial, judged for their
looks, weight and sex appeal, interfered with, competing with one another.
At the moment competition begins, women then hate each other, each one
wanting to be the to Meow, the most desirable, for these oppressors to fork
over their favor and their resources. Each one wants to be the one that is
loved, none of us wants to be the wallflower, the one left over, while
others are given the dance and the ring. With men, the equation changes, it
is competition, not sisterhood. (Not so with men, they band together in
order to overcome and rape women.)
Now to the Church. If our Church is run like the ordinary Patriarchal
Church, say Methodist or Catholic, male and female file in for services and
all is well. You sit in hard pews, watch male leaders, receive your
Sacraments or rituals, you are done and you go.
Our Church will be different - that I know. I know that at least one
service a week will be for women only, and our service will not be
Patriarchal. I will try and evoke the Spirit of MotherGod, Her Holy Spirit,
which will include not only singing but DANCING, jumping, rejoicing and
receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit, its baptism, at every gathering.
I do not want hard pews, but cushiony couches where the women and their
children, including NURSING INFANTS can sit very comfortably for long
periods of time, where amenities for women and children are close by - where
a Mother can go change diapers in comfort, or get her children a snack
nearby, all the comforts of home within reach. I want the children as well
as the Mothers to get something delightful out of the MotherGod services.
I do not want nursing Mom's to be afraid of men watching them. You know it
is legal for women to nurse their child anywhere in our country, but women
don't do it for fear. That's one of the reasons children are not given the
nutritious breast but bottle fed the inferior nutrition instead.
When women arrive at service, I want them to know they are in a SAFE SPACE.
They will not have to worry about men watching them, stalking them or their
children later on. They will not have to worry about what they are wearing,
their makeup and appearance, if their skirt goes up to high when they sit or
go into a Holy Spirit trance and fall down and roll around. I want women to
be totally relaxed and they will not be able to do so when men are around!
I also might add here that we will have to have strong security, because men
cannot stand women doing anything where they are excluded. They are
insecure, nosy, and afraid women are up to something, because they know IT
IS EMPOWERING FOR WOMEN TO GATHER AND THEY WANT WOMEN DISEMPOWERED. As long
as you are home, slaving over the hot stove, taking care of children, lonely
and alone, they are satisfied. The minute you want to go out and have fun,
or meet your girlfriends, they get into a tizzy. I have had numerous lady
friends tell me the husband had his night out, but she could not have hers.
How they fear our freedom and our happiness! How they love our slavery and
our desolation, our frustration and depression!
In conclusion, our Church will have safe space and safe haven for women and
children. What I do for the men will be decided later. Women need to get
away from these creatures and have their own life, and worship their own
God!
Also pertinent to this is that WOMEN HAVE BEEN HARMED BY MEN PERSONALLY AND
COLLECTIVELY FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Their meeting together in Safe Space
with Mother God is a major undertaking, one of monumental proportions. (Do
you realize what an outcry men will make? That might be squelched if we
have services for them as well - except most men care about spiritual things
less than women do, and these services might not be well represented by
them. On the other hand, the services where females are present will be
frequented by males because they want to be with the women more than they do
with God! What if the women don't want to be with them, and most of them
stay away from the with-men services! What an outcry there will be again!
They just won't let us be alone and have our own world!)
SINCE WE HAVE BEEN HARMED so much by men, our gathering together with other
women is different than men gathering with men. Men gather as oppressors,
having the common goal of oppressing women. Women gather as victims and as
potential leaders, seeking understanding and solace. WOMEN NEED THEIR OWN
SPACE TO RECOVER FROM WHAT MEN HAVE DONE, TO GAIN HEALING FROM MOTHERGOD AND
SISTERS.

As the spiritual woman devoted to patriarchy states below,

I worry, Guru Rasa, that our church at WTAG will use
your doctrines to hurt innocent men and that is
why I am still a lukewarm devotee. I am tired of
patriarchy but am concerned that matriarchy
will be just another evil to replace matriarchy.

referenced in this discussion, and these will come up in the near and
distant future, and we might as well address them now.
It is extremely important, especially for the women, WHO ARE THE LEADERS, to
understand the difference between these issues and these are two totally
distinct and separate issues, to be dealt with each in different ways.
First, there is the strictly SPIRITUAL issue where both males and females
should worship MotherGod, and have places to go for public worship. In this
arena, there is no discrimination or discernment between male or female, all
are One, all are equal in terms of receiving their potential, we see only
the Spirit and not the flesh as God would look only at your Soul, not your
body. In this sense, men are completely free to seek Oneness with God,
their Creator, whom we call Mother, and there is no handicap or stumbling
block, wall or glass ceiling for them. There is also no discernment or
difference in race, sexual orientation (gay, straight, transsexual, gender
bender, transvestite, hermaphrodite, etc.), nationality or any such
dimensions, rich or poor, educated or without learning, God is no respecter
of persons and neither are we. We are totally at odds with the "Old
Testament" here, which condemns TO DEATH some of those mentioned.
But on the other hand, here is "the rub," the point that will be the bone of
contention, the pivot of controversy and perhaps hysteria, on mostly men's
part but also "do-gooder" women: Men are not equal to women genetically,
biologically, mentally or emotionally, and WORST OF ALL they are (as a
gender generally, not specific to all individuals) A DANGER TO THE HUMAN
RACE AND TO ALL LIFE ON THIS PLANET. Because of these clear and evident
facts, which are proven in copious writings by scientists, doctors and
scholars, (referenced in our own books) MEN CANNOT BE IN THE LEADERSHIP OF
THE CHURCH THAT I WILL INSTITUTE and neither, in my opinion, should they be
in any positions of serious leadership (that which has to do with the
health, wealth and welfare of humans, animals and planet) in our world,
given their track record.
Now specifically, to the Church or Temple that I plan to build. I am
debating about segregation of male and female. I believe the best interests
of women will be served if we have services FOR WOMEN ONLY, to be explained
further down. Another service, periodically, could be for males only, and a
third service, for both males and females. (This is to be worked out later
when the Church actually begins, I cannot anticipate every detail ahead of
time. Security is a big factor, as reviving MotherGod worship in public
will bring controversy and danger, and those who threaten danger are almost
always men, so we might want to keep them away for security and safety
measures.)
There are many reasons why women WANT TO BE SEGREGATED away from the men.
It is NOT the same as Mosques where women are NEVER allowed, nor other
Churches where male and female sit in separate areas (women often behind
barriers) where they are excluded because they are pushed down as the
vassals and property of men, to be done with as they will. This on the part
of men is pure misogyny, exploitation and cruelty to the superior sex, whom
they have trapped, enslaved and vilified, but for women to exclude men from
their services does not harbor the same feelings or intentions.
Even though men have grievously harmed us, and continue to do so, we are not
excluding them from our company due to the fact that we look down on them as
slaves, vassals or property, it is BECAUSE WE HAVE A RIGHT TO GATHER IN
PRIVACY AND BE LEFT ALONE BY MEN. (I will give many reasons why this is so
further down.)
Here I am speaking FOR MY CHURCH, the one that I will found, and not for
other Mother God, Goddess worship Churches. Anyone can start their own
Church and run it any way they will, males themselves can begin Mother
Worship Temples. They can have genders in total participation or partial,
whatever they want - I speak for myself.
For one thing, women sometimes WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE because the genders are
different, and they are at cross purposes, and the agenda of males is wholly
different and at odds with the agenda of women, where men basically want the
opposite of what women want. You have to go into the basic instincts of
both male and female to know what that agenda is, and it is the following:
Males want to impregnate as many women as possible, and have little or
nothing to do with the children, just move on, and impregnate more women.
That is why they travel, roam, have roving eyes, are wholly susceptible to
just about any woman even when they are in a monogamous relationship, - that
is their instinct. (Let me add here that the ideal set up for a male is to
get married, have the woman/Mother take care of him, then run around on the
side to give vent to his instincts. This is the basic Patriarchal setup we
have now.) Women, on the other hand, have much to invest when they have
children. It takes a huge amount of effort and energy for them to carry,
produce, and take care of a child. They need help, resources, support, a
steady income, and they are about providing care, nurturing, and
instruction, not about dropping a load of sperm wherever and moving on.
In Patriarchy, males have trapped women into positions like domestically
enslaved animals, where the male has the freedom but the woman does not.
Women might be put into harems, or else they are placed in nuclear families,
isolated from their kin, once habitually grounded home, while men went to
outside work and did their dalliances, while women had little opportunity
for any kind of freedom due to lack of transportation, contacts, money,
workplace, nearby kin and they were stuck with helpless children. Men
routinely had friends they met with outside the home, they went to brothels
and strip clubs, prostitutes on the street, and girlfriends, while women
took care of the children at home. This is changing drastically, women have
gained much freedom in the West, but some of it still prevails. In
countries ruled by Muslims, in Africa, China, India and other places, women
are mostly slaves of men, and that is more than half the world, perhaps a
billion and a half women and children under severe oppression.
Now back to America. I can speak from experience that all my life I have
longed to just get away from men, from the sexual harassment on the street,
public parks, restaurants, beaches, any place where I have been or tried to
have a conversation with a lady friend, alone or with other women, I have
been interrupted. Whichever of us was the most beautiful is the one that
would be approached, sometimes me, other times my girlfriend. Always they
were after sex. Every conversation would be butted into. They would hover
around, watching us, getting closer, listening and interrupting. I cannot
recall ever being left alone. In those days I had not even heard of Wicca
covens or 'safe space' for women, I just knew that in public, we could never
have a conversation. (Consider here also, why are the city streets at night
devoid of women, but lots of men are out? Women are afraid of men, men are
dangerous, women have to hide from men in the safety of their homes.)
On the other hand, women do not routinely roam around looking for single men
to approach and they do not routinely see guys talking, hover around them,
butt in, interrupt and basically make nuisances of themselves, looking for
sex or whatever. Men can be left to their privacy when they want it.
Furthermore, men have always had gathering places, called men's clubs, and
their sports, and they roam around together in groups like animals, which we
all are.
There is another salient factor why women NEED to band together, and this
was brought close to home for me when recently I saw six videos uploaded by
ZBudapest on Youtube, of women gathering.
On the surface, it seemed matter-of-fact, women speaking of their concerns,
women lighting candles and doing rituals, women dressed like amateur belly
dancers and doing a turn or two, women letting it "all hang out." But I
discerned something I had never noticed before, it hit me like a revelation.
I suddenly understood, by the act of simply GATHERING for the sake of
MotherGod, Goddess, or the Higher Power, only women, no men allowed, women
in that simple act, affirmed one another's existence, commonality and
concerns. There is GREAT EMPOWERMENT, a liberation from the ever-present
YOKE OF MEN, a way of just getting away from them and all they represent.
And it is different than just being alone in your own home. Here you gather
with sisters, women who are exactly like you, who went through the same shit
you did, who suffered like problems, who endured the same kind of judgment,
criticism and unfair scrutiny you did, trated as slaves, sex objects, second
class minds, and so on; women who are routinely called names when they don't
cooperate with their oppressors, - you all have the same experiences, and
here you are together, being yourself, not worried about your weight, your
makeup, your hair, buttering up male egos because they are the oppressors,
and they are the needy, weak, troubled animals who might strike out at you
if you don't placate them. At last, you are safe, with sisters you can talk
to and let your hair down with.
Of course, these have to be like-minded sisters, with no men to change the
atmosphere. As soon as a man walks in it all changes. The air, the vibes,
the feeling is gone. Now sisters feel unsafe, on trial, judged for their
looks, weight and sex appeal, interfered with, competing with one another.
At the moment competition begins, women then hate each other, each one
wanting to be the to Meow, the most desirable, for these oppressors to fork
over their favor and their resources. Each one wants to be the one that is
loved, none of us wants to be the wallflower, the one left over, while
others are given the dance and the ring. With men, the equation changes, it
is competition, not sisterhood. (Not so with men, they band together in
order to overcome and rape women.)
Now to the Church. If our Church is run like the ordinary Patriarchal
Church, say Methodist or Catholic, male and female file in for services and
all is well. You sit in hard pews, watch male leaders, receive your
Sacraments or rituals, you are done and you go.
Our Church will be different - that I know. I know that at least one
service a week will be for women only, and our service will not be
Patriarchal. I will try and evoke the Spirit of MotherGod, Her Holy Spirit,
which will include not only singing but DANCING, jumping, rejoicing and
receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit, its baptism, at every gathering.
I do not want hard pews, but cushiony couches where the women and their
children, including NURSING INFANTS can sit very comfortably for long
periods of time, where amenities for women and children are close by - where
a Mother can go change diapers in comfort, or get her children a snack
nearby, all the comforts of home within reach. I want the children as well
as the Mothers to get something delightful out of the MotherGod services.
I do not want nursing Mom's to be afraid of men watching them. You know it
is legal for women to nurse their child anywhere in our country, but women
don't do it for fear. That's one of the reasons children are not given the
nutritious breast but bottle fed the inferior nutrition instead.
When women arrive at service, I want them to know they are in a SAFE SPACE.
They will not have to worry about men watching them, stalking them or their
children later on. They will not have to worry about what they are wearing,
their makeup and appearance, if their skirt goes up to high when they sit or
go into a Holy Spirit trance and fall down and roll around. I want women to
be totally relaxed and they will not be able to do so when men are around!
I also might add here that we will have to have strong security, because men
cannot stand women doing anything where they are excluded. They are
insecure, nosy, and afraid women are up to something, because they know IT
IS EMPOWERING FOR WOMEN TO GATHER AND THEY WANT WOMEN DISEMPOWERED. As long
as you are home, slaving over the hot stove, taking care of children, lonely
and alone, they are satisfied. The minute you want to go out and have fun,
or meet your girlfriends, they get into a tizzy. I have had numerous lady
friends tell me the husband had his night out, but she could not have hers.
How they fear our freedom and our happiness! How they love our slavery and
our desolation, our frustration and depression!
In conclusion, our Church will have safe space and safe haven for women and
children. What I do for the men will be decided later. Women need to get
away from these creatures and have their own life, and worship their own
God!
Also pertinent to this is that WOMEN HAVE BEEN HARMED BY MEN PERSONALLY AND
COLLECTIVELY FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Their meeting together in Safe Space
with Mother God is a major undertaking, one of monumental proportions. (Do
you realize what an outcry men will make? That might be squelched if we
have services for them as well - except most men care about spiritual things
less than women do, and these services might not be well represented by
them. On the other hand, the services where females are present will be
frequented by males because they want to be with the women more than they do
with God! What if the women don't want to be with them, and most of them
stay away from the with-men services! What an outcry there will be again!
They just won't let us be alone and have our own world!)
SINCE WE HAVE BEEN HARMED so much by men, our gathering together with other
women is different than men gathering with men. Men gather as oppressors,
having the common goal of oppressing women. Women gather as victims and as
potential leaders, seeking understanding and solace. WOMEN NEED THEIR OWN
SPACE TO RECOVER FROM WHAT MEN HAVE DONE, TO GAIN HEALING FROM MOTHERGOD AND
SISTERS.

I do feel we must rewrite or rework the scriptures of
Catholicism, "EXPUNGING THE EVIL STUFF, WHICH INCLUDES NOT ONLY

I agree with screening male members, as
males behave very ugly, in my experience.
But, there are men in my life who are real stand-up guys
and I cherish them as if they were my sisters.

I worry, Guru Rasa, that our church at WTAG will use
your doctrines to hurt innocent men and that is
why I am still a lukewarm devotee. I am tired of
patriarchy but am concerned that matriarchy
will be just another evil to replace matriarchy.
